For 17 wonderful days in October the fifth installment of the Illustrative Festival will be returning to it’s founding city of Berlin, Germany. Bringing together over 60 contemporary illustrators and artists from around the world the festival will be full of top notch visual inspiration. Artists work will include those shown here Tim Dinter, Edwin Ushiro, Daniel Stolle, Olaf Hajek, and many many more. In conjunction with the event the 2009 Swatch Young Illustrators Award will also be presented. The contest is open to illustrators, visual artists, graphic designers, animators, book artists, as well as students and apprentices at least 21 years old. The deadline is September 30th so get your portfolio dusted off and enter here.
