Prolific street artist Dan Witz has been getting people to look at their surroundings differently since the 1970′s. His work continues to be fresh by adding elements of surprise into the urban environment and his latest series includes the mixed media works shown here. Dark figures can be found trapped inside doors around New York. Carmichael Gallery will be hosting the Brooklyn based artist’s first west coast solo exhibition starting November 5th and running through December 3rd. The show “Dark Doings” will have an opening reception from 7-10pm on November 5th at Carmichael Gallery in West Hollywood for anyone in the LA area.
