Artist Rachel Denny will be showing new work at Winston Wachter in Seattle beginning July 8th. Rachel is known for her “Domestic Trophies” work creating animal busts and sculptures out of wood, plaster, resin, wool, and found objects. She sent over some preview shots of the new work. For everyone in Los Angeles head to Culver City this Saturday, June 5th, 2010 for the 5th annual Art Walk. The burgeoning art district has over 35 galleries which will be displaying artwork from emerging to established international artists. There will also be music and art making events taking place along with the open galleries, find out more at Culver City’s website.
Coming up this weekend in Philadelphia is an opening at Slingluff Gallery featuring the work of Kevin Margitich and Cassandra Warren. The show opens on June 5th from 6-9pm at 11 W. Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA. Check it out if you are in the area!
Opening this Saturday, March 27th at the Hamiltonian Gallery in Washington D.C. will be artist Katherina Mann. Her paintings will be joined by the sculpture work of Christian Benefiel and Michael Sirvet. The three artist show looks to be a great one for anyone in the D.C. metro area this weekend.
