Branislav Kropilak just sent word about two of his new projects. The billboard shown above is from the Ads series, while the Factories series is spectacular as well. Well worth a visit.

Pruned - Parkour - Daniel Ilabacas

Old Street roundabout comp-2, originally uploaded by BombDog.

I was reading Pruned today when I became fascinated with the photos from Jon Lucas featuring parkour artist Daniel Ilabacas. I have always loved the idea behind parkour and its fluid path through architectural spaces. Anyway go check out Jon's photos and read the article on Pruned.

Andrew Maynard and Suburb Eating Robots

Andrew Maynard, originally uploaded by twenty2woblog.

Andrew Maynard has been one of my favorite architects for a few years now. The work his studio puts out is fun, well conceived and extremely well designed. I hadn't been to his site in a while so today I found the CV08, the suburb eating robot. The site is also loaded with other projects to browse.

Scott Peterman Photography

Scott Peterman Photography, originally uploaded by twenty2woblog.

I am always attracted to architectural photography and photographer Scott Peterman has a wonderful portfolio. Represented by Higher Pictures in New York, I am especially drawn to Peterman's series of ice fishing shacks. There is a beautiful minimalist quality to them that makes them almost other worldly. via Beautiful Decay

Evoke by Usman Haque

Evoke by Usman Haque, originally uploaded by twenty2woblog.

An amazing light display using architecture as a canvas, is the work of Usman Haque. The public was encouraged to interact with the installation by controlling patterns with their voices. Different frequency and tone create unique patterns and color. This must have been truly spectacular in person. via designboom
