Soft&Furry Launch

I just caught wind of what sounds like a very cool project in the form of a logo competition for Soft&Furry. Be sure to check back in a few days when designs start going up or get working on a few yourself. Here is a little description:

"SOFT&FURRY™ is a project dedicated to creativity and collaboration. The premise behind S&F™ is to elicit participation in an alternative logo design competition. The winning logo will adorn the packaging and other associated elements of an all new, fully custom, handmade line of designer collectible toys."

ADC Young Guns - Call for Entries

The Art Directors Club is once again looking for bright young professionals to submit work to ADC Young Guns 6.

Over the years, the roster has grown to include five classes of exceptional talent, among them Stefan Sagmeister (YG1), Rei Inamoto (YG4), James Victore (YG1), Ryan McGinness (YG2), floto+warner (YG5), Alexander Gelman (YG1), Deanne Cheuk (YG4), Todd St. John (YG1), Scott Stowell (YG3), and Mike Mills (YG1). And this year, for the first time in the history of the competition, “old” Young Guns will serve as the jury and select the fifty new creative wonders that will form the class of ADC Young Guns 6.

This is more than a competition and also offers a community network and the chance for your work to be featured in a gallery exhibition and a limited edition volume published by Moleskine®.

Applicants must be thirty years of age or younger, and have two years of professional experience. Be sure to enter by June 2nd and see more details at ADC Young Guns.
