Design for Mankind posted the work of Ernesto Caivano a few days ago and since then I have been obsessed. The line work in his work is amazing and intricate. The pictures shown here in particular are a wonderful example of the dynamic compositions Ernesto accomplishes simply with black ink.

Seen on Artist a Day is the work of Josh Cochran. His work has a nice retro color tone to it and for some reason some of his images remind me of the old Johnny Quest cartoons. Which were awesome by the way, and so is Josh's work.

Lucy McLauchlan - Beat13

Beat13 was founded by Lucy McLauchlan and and Matt Watkins in Birmingham in 1999. Their site says it best. "It all began with drawing. Musical instruments next. Then came the computers. Making friends, music, and things happen are our favourite hobbies." This is also an article in the June Juxtapoz about Lucy and her work.

Tessar Lo

Tessar Lo was featured yesterday on Kitsune Noir's DWP. I would have to say it is the best wallpaper featured so far and Tessar is an extremely talented illustrator. Check out Lo's work and his blog.

Chris Dent

Chris Dent has an insanely intricate style with the pen and ink. He has been busy lately and Zoo York recently commission some art for their clothing line. Dent's line drawings of New York make for some great t-shirt graphics.

Charlie Wagers from Three Bears Design was kind enough to send me an email today introducing me to their work. "We are a multi-disciplined graphic design company who specifies in work for the entertainment industry." I was digging through some really old bookmarks and found Nicholas Di Genova's work again. Nick is an amazing illustrator from Toronto and has a sick pen and ink style. He is also part of the project called On the Road of Knives, a collaborative illustrations of fighting beasts. Awesome stuff.
