Ernesto Caivano

Design for Mankind posted the work of Ernesto Caivano a few days ago and since then I have been obsessed. The line work in his work is amazing and intricate. The pictures shown here in particular are a wonderful example of the dynamic compositions Ernesto accomplishes simply with black ink.

Beat13 was founded by Lucy McLauchlan and and Matt Watkins in Birmingham in 1999. Their site says it best. "It all began with drawing. Musical instruments next. Then came the computers. Colagene is an illustrators representation clinic and the guide book features the work of 18 superb illustrators including Coco who I have featured before. Nicholas Di Genova - Mediumphobic
I was digging through some really old bookmarks and found Nicholas Di Genova's work again. Nick is an amazing illustrator from Toronto and has a sick pen and ink style. He is also part of the project called On the Road of Knives, a collaborative illustrations of fighting beasts. Awesome stuff.
