Kevin Ledo - Persuasion Solo Show

You may remember Kevin Ledo's work from a few months back. He has a new solo show coming up in the Montreal area if you are in the neighborhood. "The acrylic paintings are born out of concepts surrounding beauty, desire, and idealism, with a touch of irony." The show runs from July 26 through 28 at CTRLLAB.

Beat13 was founded by Lucy McLauchlan and and Matt Watkins in Birmingham in 1999. Their site says it best. "It all began with drawing. Musical instruments next. Then came the computers. Making friends, music, and things happen are our favourite hobbies." This is also an article in the June Juxtapoz about Lucy and her work.

Nicholas Di Genova - Mediumphobic
I was digging through some really old bookmarks and found Nicholas Di Genova's work again. Nick is an amazing illustrator from Toronto and has a sick pen and ink style. He is also part of the project called On the Road of Knives, a collaborative illustrations of fighting beasts. Awesome stuff.
