One of my favorite things about blogging is getting in contact with artists, illustrator, and all kinds of creative types that inspire me with their work. A few months back I began contacting people I have already featured on twenty2woblog about participating in a new feature, a pdf magazine version of the blog. So after a little work and a lot of help from everyone involved the first issue is finally here. It is a free pdf to download and features some great artwork and a few interviews. Download it for yourself or view it online at Issuu and I hope you enjoy!
If you would like to have work featured or be a contributing writer in future issues let me know.

twenty2wo updates

Posting may be a little more sporadic than usual over the next few weeks while I put the finishing touches on a new project. Look forward to the end of this month for a new feature on the blog. I am pretty excited about it and have been working with some wonderful artists to make it happen. The picture above is from my trip to Kauai last year, chickens just run around everywhere there.

Mono Lake
Got to drive past this lake on our little road trip this past weekend.
Mono Lake lies in a lifeless, treeless, hideous desert, eight thousand feet above the level of the sea, and is guarded by mountains two thousand feet higher, whose summits are always clothed in clouds. This solemn, silent, sailless sea -- this lonely tenant of the loneliest spot on earth -- is little graced with the picturesque. It is an unpretending expanse of grayish water, about a hundred miles in circumference, with two islands in its centre, mere upheavals of rent and scorched and blistered lava, snowed over with gray banks and drifts of pumice-stone and ashes, the winding sheet of the dead volcano, whose vast crater the lake has seized upon and occupied.

Flickr Upload
I uploaded some photos from my Hawaii trip as well as some recent ones at Joshua Tree and the drive up to Santa Barbara. I have been trying out some new color editing tricks to get a more Lomo result.

Hawaii
I was lucky enough to spend five days in Hawaii on the island of Kauai two weeks ago. It was an amazing place and I took a ton of photos. I have been slowly uploading the better of the bunch to flickr. Check them out and if you ever get the chance, got to Kauai.

Lincoln Corridor Series
I just uploaded the beginnings of a series of images. Lincoln Boulevard in Los Angeles is a highly trafficked thoroughfare running north south on the west side of the city. Getting out of the car lets you slow down enough to see some inspiring things.
